It is difficult to provide a standard list of duties for undertaking the role of Project Manager. At Sherwood Surveyors we offer a bespoke service to reflect the specific needs of our client.

For new build projects the role is similar to that of the Employer's Agent Role with the Building Contractor not being responsible for the design. In this regard we can select and appoint a design team and then 'Project Manage' the scheme through to completion. If the project does not lend itself to the appointment of the traditional consultants we can manage the project along the lines of management procurement. In this regard we can help in the collation of the design drawings specification and cost information; then transmute this information into documents on which competitive tenders can be obtained for the work packages. We can then administer the contract throughout the works to successful completion.

The Chartered Surveyor that works on your project will also be a member of The Association of Project Managers giving you the peace of mind knowing that the individual has demonstrated the capabilities of a responsible leader with the ability to manage construction projects using appropriate tools processes and techniques.
